ABOUT TRINITY MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH HONOLULU, HAWAII

ARTICLES OF FAITH
We join ourselves together as a spiritual body of baptized believers in Christ Jesus, who are personally committed to sharing the good news (Gospel of Salvation) to all mankind.
We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired, and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction;
that it has God for its author,for its end, and truth without
any mixture of error for its matter that it reveals the principles by which God will judge us, and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds,
and opinions shall be tried.
TMBC HISTORY
On March 12, 1968, Reverend Rubin L. Creel, inspired by a vision from God, made a heartfelt plea over KNDI radio’s “Gospel Music Time,” inviting listeners to gather at his home to
a church. Nine individuals answered his call, leading to the founding of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church (TMBC) on April 28, 1968.
The church held its first worship service in
two classrooms at Aiea Elementary School.
Later that year, due to rapid membership
growth, TMBC relocated to a Quonset hut at
63 Chicago Avenue in Halawa.
